Make sure your hair is (towel) dry and divide it into sections. Place the brush under each section and slowly brush from the roots to the ends. Once you've covered all the sections, you can run the Thermal Brush through your hair again to ensure you've gotten everything. For curls, wrap the sections around the brush.
