Hoe vaak moet ik mijn haar wassen?

Twee tot drie keer per week is voor de meeste haartypes ideaal. Te vaak wassen kan de natuurlijke beschermlaag aantasten en ervoor zorgen dat het haar juist sneller vet wordt. Tussendoor kun je het haar opfrissen met droogshampoo.

Welke shampoo past bij mijn haartype?

Voor droog haar kies je een hydraterende shampoo met voedende oliën. Vet haar heeft baat bij een lichte, zuiverende formule. Krullend haar vraagt om een sulfaatvrije shampoo en voor gekleurd haar kun je het beste een color-care shampoo met UV-bescherming gebruiken.

Wat is het verschil tussen Olaplex en K18?

Beide merken zijn ontwikkeld om beschadigd haar te herstellen, maar ze werken op een andere manier. Olaplex richt zich op het herstellen van gebroken disulfidebindingen in het haar. K18 gebruikt peptiden om de haarstructuur op moleculair niveau te herstellen. Beide merken zijn geschikt voor gekleurd en chemisch behandeld haar.

Wat is de CG-methode?

De Curly Girl-methode is een verzorgingsmethode die speciaal is ontwikkeld voor krullend haar. Hierbij vermijd je onder andere sulfaten, siliconen en uitdrogende alcoholsoorten. Zo blijven de natuurlijke krulvorm en vochtbalans van het haar beter behouden.

In welke volgorde gebruik ik haarproducten?

Begin met shampoo en gebruik daarna een conditioner of haarmasker. Na het uitspoelen kun je een leave-in conditioner of hittebescherming aanbrengen. Stylingproducten zoals wax, gel of haarspray gebruik je als laatste, wanneer het haar gedeeltelijk of volledig droog is.
